As part of the upcoming Media Arts Summit in June 2016, Independent Media Arts Alliance (IMAA) will curate and host a “Pecha Kucha” style evening to showcase some highlights of the independent media arts community over the past two years in different regions of the country. Through the presentation of micro-lectures accompanied by images, video or sound clips, presenters from each of the six regions will provide an overview of inspiring projects in Canadian media arts.

To ensure wide representation from across the country, IMAA is currently recruiting projects from its members, to be showcased during the PEAK Presentation. We invite you to submit projects highlighting specific initiatives, important artists, or innovative projects which you’d like to share during the Québec City Summit.
