Invitation to the Annual General Meeting
The Independent Media Arts Alliance will hold its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, September 26, 2024, via Zoom at the following time:
10 am Pacific
11 am Mountain
12 noon Central
1 pm Eastern
2 pm Atlantic
2:30 pm Newfoundland
Approximate duration: 2H
2025 FEE SCHEDULE:
- The current 2022-24 fee schedule was put in place by a vote from IMAA members at the 2022 AGM, as a goal to be achieved by 2024. In order to bring the recommended fees into line with the rising cost of living and inflation, as well as to ensure adequate remuneration for artists and support funding for the Media Arts, an updated fee schedule for 2025 will be voted by IMAA members at the AGM.
- The recommendation of the IMAA Board of Directors is that the current minimum fee become the recommended fee, and that the recommended fee be increased by 8%. (Consult the 2022-24 Fee Schedule here)
- IMAA members will have the opportunity to discuss the recommended increase at the members’ regional meetings, as well as during an information session on Discord prior to the AGM.
Proxy: If you cannot attend the AGM and wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your organization’s behalf, please complete this Proxy Vote form and return it to us at info@imaa.ca.
Membership: Members must have paid their membership dues for the current year (April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025) to be eligible to vote. Please renew your membership here.
