ArtsVote 2025

On top of IMAA’s work to advocate for the value of the Media Arts, we support the Canadian Arts Coalition’s ArtsVote 2025 campaign. IMAA’s National Director Barbora Racevičiūtė is a member of the Canadian Arts Coalition Steering Committee.

The Canadian Arts Coalition is non-partisan and wants all supporters of Arts and cultural expression in Canada to be informed and engaged so that all parties hear loudly that art matters.

Voting is an essential right, and our democratic future depends on informed, engaged citizens of all ages. The race is tight, and every single vote will matter in this election.  Even in ridings where the result seems certain, anything is possible. You are empowered to make the arts a priority.

Members of Parliament work for you, and they are accountable to all of us as their constituents. When artists and cultural workers are informed about where parties stand and vote for policies that improve our sector, we have an impact.
