Working with the core Independent Media Arts Alliance (IMAA) team (specifically under the supervision and in close collaboration with National Director, Communications and Membership Manager, and Operations Coordinator) the Administrative Assistance – Conference (AAC) will work on a major project: the organizing of IMAA’s by-annual National Media Arts Gathering, which will be hosted early June 2026 in Montreal, QC. 

The goal of the position is to support the planning and execution of the event by conducting a number of administrative tasks necessary for its success. 

The candidate must be able to work in-person in Montréal, Québec.

Skills:

  • Bilingualism – proficiency in English and French
  • Project management and communications skills
  • Knowledge of digital programs like Canva, Slack, Google suite, Zoom,
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Adaptability and ability to solve problems
