Accessibility

Language
Please note that the meetings will be held in French and English, and that a captioning service with audio option will be available in both languages for participants.

Locations
Most of the conference will take place at 4001 Berri in the OBORO, GIV, and Ada X spaces. Unfortunately, 4001 Berri is not wheelchair accessible and has a few steps inside. On Friday, we will have a few activities at Robin des Bois, located in the heart of Lafontaine Park. Robin des Bois is wheelchair accessible. You will find information about 4001 Berri and Robin des Bois on this page.

Please consult the accessibility page on our website www.ensyntonie-tuningin.ca and let us know BEFORE MAY 1st if you have any specific accessibility needs.

You can share your needs through the registration form or by contacting Lindsey Wilson directly at stages.interns@imaa.ca. Lindsey is the contact person for any questions related to accessibility for the conference.

Programming

Choose Your Working Group!

In response to ongoing member interest in taking advantage of gathering time to work on tangible outcomes, this year’s event will have three working groups where participants will be able to develop documents, plans, and strategies for their organizations.

While the exact focus of each working group is still being developed, the three topics we will be addressing are Human Resource policy, Artificial Intelligence policy, and Advocacy frameworks. The different working groups will happen concurrently and will be led by a facilitator. The shared aim of all three groups will be to work towards a material outcome that can support organizational operations.

The program is taking shape! Until we can share a detailed schedule with you, here are a few details to help you plan your travel. The opening event on Wednesday, June 17th, will begin at 10am with the opening remarks and plenary lasting until 12pm when we’ll have lunch. On Friday the 19th we will be wrapping up the day at approximately 4pm. We will announce the program next month, but in the meantime if you have questions that would support your plans in coming to the conference please come to the March 26th Info Session or email us.
