Following an analysis of Retirement Savings/Pension Plans in Canada as part of IMAA’s Assessing Sector Needs & Researching New Potential Services study, the Artist-Run Centres and Collectives Conference (ARCA) and the Independent Media Arts Alliance (IMAA) are recommending the following retirements savings options plans for individuals and organizations in the independent arts sector.
The IMAA Fee Schedule for 2019 recommends fees for screenings and audio presentations, educational use of media art works, exhibitions, professional fees and print reproduction of film/video stills. This fee schedule was unanimously approved by IMAA membership on May 2, 2017 at the AGM.
The websites listed in this resource share numerous international artist residencies. Artists can find out about application details, deadlines and subscribe to mailing lists that regularly update new residency opportunities. This resource was compiled by IMAA in February 2017.
